Neville Mitchell is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Cochlear Limited, one of Australia’s largest medical device companies which is focused on solutions for the hearing impaired. Neville was part of the team that successfully listed Cochlear on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in 1995 and is part of the Executive team that has driven the Company’s growth and development since then. He currently has responsibility for Cochlear’s accounting, corporate finance, treasury, audit, investor relations, secretarial, and corporate functions.
Neville currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hearing CRC, Hearworks Pty Ltd, National Executive, Group of 100, and Cochlear Limited’s domestic and overseas Subsidiary Companies. He is also the Chairman of the ASIC Standing Committee of Accounting and Auditing, and he serves on the Board of Governors for the Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering (Sydney University). Neville has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He is a professional member of the Australian and South African Institutes of Chartered Accountants.
