Doug joined Osprey Medical in April 2010. Doug has almost two decades of medical device management experience including marketing, reimbursement and executive roles in the fields of Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Spine. His previous positions include progressive marketing management experience in companies such as Anulex Technologies, St. Jude Medical, Zimmer Spine, and Schneider (now part of Boston Scientific). From early stage start-up to broad commercial sales environments, Doug has proven expertise in formulating scalable business models from initial product concept through successful marketing and sales execution in large-scale, global organizations. He has successfully developed health economic studies necessary for gaining broad market adoption. Additionally, he has recruited and managed both distributor and direct sales personnel, and implemented physician and sales rep training programs.
Doug holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Minnesota and a BA from St. Cloud State University.
